New Wrangler Rugged Wear® Logo and Tagline Makes Statement

Wrangler Rugged Wear® sends a message to all anglers, hikers, campers, climbers, backpackers, paddlers, peddlers and outdoor enthusiasts – We are Geared for the Outdoors.  The new logo and tagline brings to life the brand’s positioning as the most functional, comfortable and durable apparel brand for those who live and love the outdoor lifestyle. The new tagline – Geared for the Outdoors™ – accompanies a new logo treatment that visually and emotionally captures the feeling of the great outdoors.

The new logo and tagline were unveiled with the spring 2005 catalog.  “The logo and tagline reinforce the brand’s message of function, durability and style while also appealing to the emotional and rational needs of our consumers,” said Victoria Kearns, Manager, Marketing Communications, Wrangler Specialty Apparel.  “The Rugged Wear brand is positioned as a lifestyle brand that is durable enough for an expedition yet comfortable enough for a backyard barbeque.”
