The NYTBF is proud to announce the 2017 tournament schedule. Events are included for adults both individual and teams of two, collegiate anglers, high school, and youth. Events are held throughout the state of New York at favorite lakes and rivers. Many of the events are sponsored by the local towns and villages and help to bring in a positive economic impact to the community. We also have local and national sponsors that help to support the NYTBF as well.
Individual adult anglers are competing for a chance to participate in the year end State Championship to qualify for the TBF National Semi-Final and possibly a berth in the TBF National Championship.
Collegiate anglers are competing to qualify for the Collegiate Cup Championship where top teams will advance to the Cabelas Collegiate Cup Championship. The high school anglers compete as teams with a chance to advance to the TBF SAF Regional Championship. The youth anglers, who are the future of our sport, are competing for a chance to represent New York at the World Championship held in conjunction with the prestigious Forrest Wood Cup.

About the NYTBF – New York The Bass Federation (NYTBF) is an affiliate state chapter of The Bass Federation, the original grass roots bass fishing organization whose motto “Owned by those we serve, dedicated to the sport of fishing” embodies the very essence of who we are and what we do. Our organization is committed to providing something for people of all ages and gender. We offer youth, high school, collegiate, adult and team tournaments, you need not own a boat to participate and regardless of your on the water experience we’re certain you’ll find like-minded folks within our group.
