WHAT: Boater Jason Nixon of Wetumpka, Ala., caught a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 29 pounds, 1 ounce Oct. 1-2 to win $4,882 in the Walmart BFL Bama Division tournament on Lake Mitchell. Nixon was fishing mid lake using a shaky-head and Sweet Beaver Frog.
