Individual -Sam Rayburn
Twenty-six Individuals came out to fish on Big Sam Sunday, they caught 14 limits and 82 fish that weighed a total of 221.65 lbs.
The AQ Angler of the Year, Mr. Clayton Boulware is phenomenal. He brought 5 bass to the scale that weighed 21.58 lbs. Clayton reported catching his fish 12-16 feet deep on Fat Free Shad,a Big Bite Kreit Tail Worm and a Flash Mob Jr. He would like to thank his sponsors, Lews, Big Bite, Pradco, Costa, Tracker Boating Center, Nitro, Mercury, Stanley Jigs & Spinner baits, and a special thanks to his lovely wife Elizabeth and his amazing children. Clayton took home the first place check for $540.00.
2nd place was held by Mike Needham with 5 fish that weighed 21.37 lbs. Mike reported catching his fish mid-lake in 3-4 feet of water on Texas rigged baby Brush Hogs & Swim Jigs out of his Skeeter/Yamaha rig. Mike won $340.00 for his day on the lake.
3rd place was held by Mr. Tommy Hill. His 5 fish weighed 17.78 lbs with an awesome 7.76lb kicker fish. Tommy reported catching his fish in 8-12 feet of water on a Carolina Rig out of his Bullet/Mercury rig. Tommy took home a total of $420.00. and he would like to thank Ms. Penny for all of her love and support.
Mr. Clint Kirby came in 4th place with a limit that weighed 15.25 lbs. Clint reported catching his fish mid-lake on a Rattle Trap, Sinkos and a Deep Lil’in out of his Blazer/Mercury rig. Clint won $130.00.
And Mark Richard got his entry fee back $75.00 for the 5th place and last money spot.
