Pursuit Boats recently held its Dealer Meeting to usher in the 2008 Model Year and to present awards to their top dealers at the Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, located in Fort Myers, Florida.
The Pursuit Dealer organization was treated to the introduction of the new S 310 Sport and the OS 315 Offshore, as well as the reintroduction of the C 340 Center Console featuring new Yamaha 350 engines. Pursuit’s founder and chairman Leon Slikkers welcomed the attendees with his vision of the future of Pursuit during the Monday business meeting. This vision included introduction of several new models throughout the model year, combining innovation and forward thinking design with an ambitious production schedule and the additions to the plant designed to increase and streamline production. Enthusiastic applause was the response to Mr. Slikkers’ presentation, as the dealers eagerly took notes and nodded with approval. The dealers spent the rest of the day in regional meetings and engineering forums, where they learned of the many enhancements and features that the new models are being built with, and of course, all dealers were able to sea trial the entire Pursuit fleet.
The conference was concluded with an awards banquet and trophy presentation to the top ten Pursuit dealers. Awards were also made to the salespeople who qualified for the prestigious “Club Pursuit and Club Elite” sales awards for model year 2007.
Top honors for the number one Pursuit dealer went to Walker Marine, located in Marco Island, Florida. Jim and Christine Walker, along with their top salesman, John Pettite accepted a beautiful bronze sailfish trophy and shadow box plaque for their dealership.

The top New International Dealer for 2007 went to Mega Yachts, Ltd., of Greece, and International Boats Service, from Italy, was named Top Retail International Dealer for 2007. John Petitte, of Walker Marine received the top Retail Salesman award for the model year.
