With a total payout of $6,005.00 up for grabs, there were 14 teams fishing for the win !!!!
Day 2 of the 2016 Houston Team Championship ends with a WIN for Randy Quin & Mark Rouse….. They led the tournament from day 1 with a limit that weighed 13.65 lbs., and ended day 2 with another limit weighing 12.73 lbs., giving them a two day total of $26.58 lbs.!!!! They also had the second biggest bass of the weekend weighing 4.39 lbs., and won a total of $3,995.00….. Not bad for fishing against only 13 other teams……
Dean Coleman and Jimmy Emmons Jr. came in second place with a two day total weight of 22.93 lbs. These guys fished hard all year as the 2015 Anglers of the Year…. and won $1,590.00 for their weekend on the water.
Sandro Alfaro and James Chandler came in a close third with a two day total of 21.87 lbs….. James also came in the second day with the biggest bass of the weekend a nice 5.01 lb’er… They won $420.00 for that one bite….
And I’d like to CONGRADULATE the new 2016 Lake Houston Team Anglers of the Year; Greg Crawford & Lee Lacour…. They received the AOY Trophies and FREE entries to the Team Events on Lake Houston for the 2017 season
