Rayburn Individual #8
Anglers Quest has had 53 different individuals fish Sam Rayburn this year, but only 12 came out to fish in the rain today. There were a total of 7 limits, 39 fish, 141.12 lbs. with a 3.61 lb., average fish weighed in…..
Justin Cochran FINALLY won the last Individual tournament…his limit weighed 24.95 lbs. Justin, running his Ranger/Mercury rig north reported catching his big fish ( an 8.77 lb’er ) in approximately 16ft of water. He says all his fish were caught on plastics and all the rest of his fish were in aprox. 2 feet of water. Justin won a total of $480.00 Congratulations Justin and it’s about dang time !!!
Mr. Glenn Kimble our new AQ Rayburn Individual of the Year !!! Came in second place today with his limit weighing 23.82 lbs. Glenn fished out of his Skeeter/Yamaha rig. he ran to mid-lake and reported catching his fish throwing a frog in hay grass with a little bit of hydrilla approximately 5 feet deep. He won $180.00 for his day on the water.
And Mr. Clayton Boulware came in third place today fishing out of his Nitro/Mecury, with a limit weighing 20.89 lbs. unfortunately there was no money for third, but anytime you catch over 20 pounds, its gotta be a good day of fishing ! We appreciate you Mr. Boulware !!!
