In order to support continuing growth and customer demand for its high quality marine displays, computers and panel computers Hatteland Display has made several internal appointments at the senior sales level.
Goetz Vogelmann, who has been with Hatteland Display for six years moves from his current position to become Sales Director Commercial.
Vogelmann joined Hatteland Display after five years at LCD manufacturer Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe. His vast experience as a former key account manager in the display technology sector and in world wide product and marketing management has helped Hatteland Display to maintain and expand its position as a technology driven leading player in the marine and naval sectors.
“We have set ourselves ambitious short and long term targets in order to capitalise on the continuing growth we have experienced across all of our core product areas and industry sectors,” comments Vogelmann. “The changes in senior management will help us to reach these targets and I’m personally looking forward to working with our customers in my new role.”
The Business Development role will be covered by Knut Vidar Lauritsen, President of Hatteland Display. Lauritsen’s position as President of the company means that he is already heavily involved in business development so is ideally positioned to determine the future direction of Hatteland Display.
A third appointment sees Terje Akerholt, formerly Director of Sales, Commercial Division, become Sales Manager Commercial. Akerholt joined Hatteland Display in September 2007 and has quickly become a key member of the senior sales team. His new position strengthens the customer facing sales force as he focuses on key customers.
“The reorganisation enables us to leverage the skills and experience our senior management team already holds, so that we can better meet the demands of the growth that we are currently experiencing. Although turnover and deliveries are increasing across all our sectors year on year, we are committed to ensuring the high quality of our products and services. After all quality is the reason that our business has been successful to date,” says Lauritsen.By: Saul Trewern
