Our second tournament of the year was held on Bee Lake near Yazoo City MS. on April 9th. We had 7 couples to fish. They caught 16 fish that weighed a total of 38.52 pounds. It was a beautiful day and all but one couple caught fish and all were released alive.
Sandy and Monty Fletcher won with 3 fish that weighed 13.02 pounds and caught the big bass weighing 7.18 pounds. Paula and Jimmy Carruth this years Anglers of the Year came in second with 11.10 pounds.
A special Thank You to Ron Fears and his family for letting us along with Joy and Tom Caruthers stay at their place on one of the most beautiful private lakes we have seen in a long time. We even got to fish for a little while Friday afternoon.
Our next tournament will be May 14, 2005, on the Ross Barnett putting in at Tommy’s on HWY. 43.
