Skeeter’s New ST15 Ideal For First-Time Boat Owner

Skeeter Boats knows many anglers looking to buy a boat may shy away from the larger boats. For those anglers, the new 15’7″-long ST15 offers a full complement of fishing amenities to appeal to first-time buyers and anglers who are ready to move off the bank to fish new waters.

“We designed the new ST15 to appeal to anglers looking to get onto the water quickly and to retiring hobbyists who want a boat that’s easy to handle and easy to trailer,” said Dean Burnett, National Sales Manager and Marketing Director for Skeeter. “Our value-based pricing on the ST15 will enable those anglers who wonder if they fish enough to justify purchasing a boat to get into a high-quality Skeeter bass boat and out on the water. And with Yamaha power up to 70 horsepower, those first-time buyers can rest assured their investment is money well spent.”

Some of the numerous standard features on the new ST15 include:

Composite transom and stringer system for added durability and

strength.

Cockpit Command Center (with tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge, trim

gauge, horn and tinted windshield) keeps the driver informed of the boat’s

operation.

Single-cable non-feedback steering for minimum effort in driving.

Bow panel with trolling motor power receptacle and trim switch for

controlling the foot-operated MotorGuide 743 trolling motor with Little

Gator mount. With 43-lbs. of thrust, the MotorGuide will hold the ST15 in position even in windy conditions.

current is available to the trolling motor.

Two battery trays help ensure plenty of juice to run the boat’s electronics while still providing enough power to start the engine at the end of the day.

Two removable fishing chairs with 13″ extensions offer added comfort while fishing. The removable fishing chairs serve double duty as the driver and passenger seats while underway.

Oversized bow and stern casting decks allow anglers to cast without worry.

Divided rear livewell system featuring Fill mode and livewell pump

timer to keep fish alive for weigh-in.

Bow and stern running lights alert other boaters to your location in pre-dawn fishing hours.

Insulated doors keep gear cool during the hottest weather.

An 800 GPH bilge pump provides peace of mind.

Single-axle trailer with spare tire carrier provides stable towing to and from the lake.

Powered by Yamaha outboards providing higher performance and greater fuel efficiency.
