Pulse Action is a part of the internal mechanisms of the reel that affects the line pickup during lure retrieval. While cranking, the lure actually has an added jerk as the spool hesitates while winding the line onto the spool. The added action to the lure results in more strikes. Pulse Action does not affect line take up while fighting fish.
The 2-bearing drive SC200 and single bearing drive SC400 spincast reels features star drag for spool tension adjustment and a durable graphite body. The reels are pre-spooled with 10-pound test monofilament on the SC200 and 20-pound test on the SC400.
