AQ Livingston Team #5
It was HOT on the water today. With temperatures rising to the mid to high 90’s, the fish were hard to catch except for the little ones…. Almost everyone reported catching lots of 13 inchers….
The team of Jeff Stanley & Jimmy Emmons Jr. took first place with an awesome weight of 19.67 lbs. for their 5 fish stringer… Jeff reported that they fished out of Jimmy’s Champion boat powered by Mecury and that that they fished south. fippin’ Texas rigs on stumps and laydowns in 2-3 feet of water. He reported that they caught about 8 keepers and they also brought in the biggest bass of the day a nice 5.26 lb’er. Jeff & Jimmy won a total of $1,315.00 for their day on the lake. They would like to thank their lovely wives Tammy and Susan for all their love and support.
Second place was brought in by the team of Rick Witten & Jesse Witten. This Grandfather & Grandson team caught their five fish out of their Ranger/ Mercury rig, mid lake on plastics and top water in 5-6- feet of water and they culled 7-10 times They won $730.00 for their 2nd place finish. Rick and Jesse would like to thank the Good Lord because he is the Greatest Sponsor of all !!!
I didn’t get any info from the third place team of Jed Holt and William Young, but they brought in 5 fish that weighed 12.96 lbs. And they took home the third place check for $485.00.
All in al it was a good day for most. Any day on the water fishing is a blessing….
