This tournament that started out with dark menacing skies that were a forewarning of things to come. We had vicious thunderstorms that blew us off the lake and into the marina not once but twice. While most of us and all the men from another tournament were in the marina eating lunch, Travis, Roy and Laurie were fishing right in front of our window for all to see. It was in this downpour that Travis caught the big bass of the tournament, with all of us watching him from inside. It was very funny hearing all the men talking about it.
Travis and Pat McCollough won first place with three fish weighing in at 6.78 lbs. Travis also had big bass with a fish weighing 3.82 lbs. W. C. and Anna Polster came in second place with another three fish bag that weighed in at 5.68 lbs. Third place was Bobby & Rita Wilson with two fish weighing in at 2.97 lbs. And Roy & Laurie Steger came in fourth place with one fish weighting in at 1.80. The good news is Travis found the camera with all the pictures from the Waco tournament which I lost, I put it in the can where we draw our numbers so I would not forget where it was, and well you know the rest of the story, ha ha. Thank God for my other half, anyway we will have lots of pictures for everyone at Limestone. Also I made everyone a complete set of the picnic the pictures. They turned out great. Hope to see everyone at Limestone, except Randy who is still serving his country, anyone wanting to write him, I have his address.
