The first tournament of the year for the CAST Central region turned out to be extremely cold with 3 inches of snow on the ground. What a way to start the year!
However, 50% of all the couples managed to bring at least one bass to the scales. Considering the conditions, that was one tremendous feat.
A brand new couple to CAST this year, Stuart and Lori Holle braved the weather and won first place with 5.55 lbs. They received $310.00 for their effort.
Second place, along with Big Bass of the tournament went to Tom and JoAnn Flanary. They took home $250.00 for the day. Rounding out the top five teams were Wayne & Marilyn Lilljedahl with 3.59 lbs, Steve & Becky Morton with 3.06 lbs., and William & Anna Polster with 1.41 lbs.
