The new SX200 bass boat from Skeeter is built for tournament angling with the size, power and stability needed for fishing early and making the weigh-in time. The new SX200 from Skeeter is a 19′ 6″ fishing machine, rated for a Yamaha 200 horsepower outboard, with the ability to get anglers where they want to go fast and safe.
The deluxe console with tinted windscreen gives the Skeeter driver the edge. Easy to read gauges, including a built in Zercom CID-40 flasher, are situated right over the steering wheel with its dual cable non-feedback components. Switches are reached effortlessly while sitting in the comfortable bench seat.
From a fishing standpoint, the Skeeter SX200 is built with all the extras anglers demand. Two thirteen-gallon live wells in the back allow for easy separation of fish and the live well control system fills, drains and recirculates. The large casting deck, built within the 94-inch beam, gives ample room for two anglers. Both the front and rear deck have fishing chairs on 13-inch fixed extensions. The bow panel is complete with trolling motor receptacle and engine trim switch. Working shorelines and docks is simplified with the Motorguide24 volt foot operated trolling motor with Gator mount.
Storage is not overlooked on the SX200. The front deck is equipped with two oversize rod storage lockers and a roomy tackle storage box. The rear deck has two storage boxes along with an easy access rigging compartment. Gas-assisted lifts have been added to the doors on the rod boxes and rigging compartment. There’s even underseat storage and the front deck has two built-in retractable rod staze. The 1,550 pound dry weight SX200 sits comfortably on the Skeeter tandem axle tube trailer with surge brakes. For added boat protection, the trailer is equipped with transom saver and tie downs. Also included are a spare tire and carrier. Bow and stern lights, four cleats, heavy duty bilge pump, Skeeter transom washer and bow traction mat provide added safety and convenience. Engineered for the rigors of tournament fishing, the SX series Skeeter boats are built with composite transom construction with a fiberglass stringer system. The SX200 carries up to five persons or 775 pounds and the 47-gallon fuel tank allows for hours of boating enjoyment.
