Saturday February 21,2016 was a beautiful day on Lake Houston. The fish were biting and 24 teams came out to participate in the 2nd Team event of the year.
Greg Crawford and Lee Lacour came in 1st place with a limit weighing 17.21lbs. they took home $1,840.00 for their day on the water.
Our AQ Houston team Anglers of the Year, Mr. Dean Coleman & Mr. Jimmy Emmons Jr. came in 2nd place with their 5 weighing 16.29lbs. They won $920.00 for their efforts.
Tansley Bynog Sr. along with his partner David Wheaton held down 3rd place with 15.50 lbs., and they caught the biggest bass of the day weighing 6.26lbs. they won $750.00 for their day on the water.
And 4th place was held by the team of Larry Cotton & Tony Hawk. These guys brought 5 fish to the scales that weighed 15.35lbs. and they won $375.00 for that limit of fish.
All in all there were 19 limits caught, 270.86 lbs. of bass all released back into the lake alive, making the average fish weigh 2.57 lbs.
