The Flippin’ Stick

My name’s Bud Pruitt. I’m from Spring, Texas and I’m part of the Yamaha Pro Staff. I love to flip a jig, and I love to use a crawl worm. I’ve developed a lighter flippin’ stick for some folks. One of my sponsors, Castaway Rods, allowed me to build a lighter flippin’ stick. Most people’s flippin’ sticks are heavy and they’re hard to manage all day long. built a lighter flippin’ stick that allows you to flip all day, with a 7 1/2 foot rod, and still have all the leverage you need to get these fish out of the grass, shallow cover, brush, tullies and reeds. And that’s been really fun for me this year, I got the opportunity to develop this lighter flippin’ stick. I think it’s something you are going to see more and more guys going to.
