Our first tournament of the 2006 season started out in 24 degree temperature with the wind gusting to 30 mph. Normally this would keep fishermen from doing their best, but our CAST Couples rose to the occasion and all but 2 teams brought fish to the weigh-in.
First place was won by Thomas & Kelly Whited with a 5 fish total weight of 9.12 lbs. They took home $400 for their days effort. Also with a limit of bass was Wayne and Marilyn Lilljedah in second place with 9.03 lbs. Third went to Randall Cross & Lynn Kelley with 3 fish going 7.68 lbs. Gene Lathrop & Jeanne Traywick took fourth place with 2 fish weighting 6.92 lbs. They were also our Bass Winner with a 4.32 lb fish.
Linc & Kristin Stockton ended up in fifth place with 4 fish weighing 6.61 lbs. And Gerald & Denise Rabroker rounded out our top six couples with 3 fish and a total of 6.11 lbs.
