JR & LaVonna Briant win the season opener on LBJ with a five fish stringer weighing 14.66lbs. LaVonna caught ladies big bass with 2.62lbs., and JR caught mens big bass with 5.29 lbs. Congratulations to JR and LaVonna Briant. Troy and Cindy Roberson took second place with 12.74 lbs., and Tom and JoAnn Flanary took third place with 10.37lbs. Congratulations to all of our Central Region couples! The day started out cold but warmed into a beautiful day for fishing. Water was stained, and temps ranged from the mid forties to the low fifties. Reports from practice days were very bleak, but our couples managed to bring in three fish tipping the scales at 5lbs plus.We would like to welcome our new couples, as well as our new/old couples to the 2 of Us. We know you have lots of choices out there and we are proud to welcome you to our fishing family.
