University of Missouri Takes Day 1 Lead

Mizzou’s Scott Dooley and Shelby Lovelace claimed the College Bass North Super Regional lead after day one with an 11-pound bag of bass on the Mississippi River in Fort Madison, Iowa Saturday, June 5. Iowa State’s Kyle Wood and Clayton Meyer took second with 8.47 pounds and Zach Wojtowicz and Jesse Schultz landed in third with 7.74 pounds. All 14 two-person teams will fish again tomorrow with the two-day cumulative weight determining the College Bass North Super Regional champion.
