The incentive program expands to more trails in 2017
Lew’s announces that Ohio angler Brett Warrick is the Lew’s Speed Fishing Awards (SFA) Angler of the Year, and that the incentive program responsible for the distinction is expanding to include more tournaments in 2017.
Ohio’s Brett Warrick is the Lew’s 2016 Speed Fishing Awards Angler of the Year. The title earned him a $1,000 gift certificate redeemable for Lew’s products.
Warrick won the title by accumulating the highest number of points through participation in FLW’s 2016 Bass Fishing League (BFL) tournaments. He earned 1,345 points competing in the league’s Buckeye Division. The accomplishment earned him a $1,000 gift certificate redeemable for his choice of Lew’s rods, reels and accessories totaling that value.
The membership-based Lew’s SFA loyalty program was implemented two years ago as a way for Lew’s rod-and-reel owners to earn rewards above and beyond what any tournaments they fish may offer.
For 2017, the Lew’s incentive program expands to include more tournament trails, consisting of FLW Costa and BFL, B.A.S.S. Opens, Texas Team Trail, Alabama Team Trail, Anglers in Action, Ozark Mountain Team Trail, Everett Team Trail and Webb Outdoors Elite Pro events
To be eligible for the incentive program, anglers must be a 2017 Lew’s SFA program member in compliance with all criteria, including ownership of Lew’s rods and reels manufactured since 2014. The $29.95 annual membership fee includes a Lew’s cap and decals.
The Lew’s SFA program presents an option of $200 cash or a $300 Lew’s gift certificate to the member who wins a qualified tournament. The same prize choices go to the winning team (not individual anglers) of a qualified team event, provided both anglers are enrolled in the Lew’s incentive program.
The 2017 season will culminate with Lew’s presenting the Lew’s Big Bass of the Year prize to the SFA member who weighed the largest bass of all sanctioned events during the year. The Lew’s big bass prize is a $1,000 gift certificate redeemable for Lew’s products.
The 2017 Lew’s Speed Fishing Awards incentive program is open now for online enrollment at www.lews.com. Refer to the Angler Resources section and then click on Rewards Program. The information includes a full description of program rules and frequently asked questions.
