On May 23, 2004 the North Mississippi Division of F.A.C.T. couples trail went to Grenada Lake in Mississippi for their third tournament of the year. With twenty nine couples trying to take home first place.
Last years Anglers of the Year Wendy and Tommy Pickett of Bartlett, TN. were able to find five bass that weighed 15.65 lbs for the win and move them back into the points lead for the year. Tommy was able to find these fish even though he did not get to practice because of work and Wendy having to return home on Saturday night because their daughter became sick. The Picketts have been able to win two tournaments already this season.
Second place went to Melinda and Randy Vires of Olive Branch, MS. with five bass that weighed 14.22 lbs with a 5.34 lbs big bass of the day. Third place went to Linda and Tim Beale of Hernando, MS. with five bass that weighed 10.56 lbs. 4th plac went to Linda and Danny Carter of Hernando, MS. with five bass that weighed 10.30 lbs.
