Westmar Marine Insurance, today announced it has hired Amy Cochran as a Commercial Producer. In her new role, Cochran will be responsible for serving the needs of boat dealers, marinas, yacht clubs, repair facilities and other commercial marine businesses.
“Amy has a proven track record of strategic selling, and rapidly growing revenue in the territories she covers,” said Ariana Tharp, Commercial Producer at Westmar. “As we continue to expand our products and services to suit the changing needs of our commercial clients, Amy is a valuable addition to our team.”
Amy comes to Westmar from Skyline Displays, where she served numerous roles in marketing and client services. During her time at Skyline, she grew new business 66% for her region. Before Skyline, Amy worked in marketing for I-Safe America, where she was charged with all US outreach, and grew new business by 25%. Prior to that she worked in media relations and event coordination for U.S. Congressman Kenny Hulshof, in Columbia, MO.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish and Business Management from the University of Missouri at Columbia. In her spare time she is also a fitness instructor.
