Anglers Quest Rayburn Team #2Lake Sam Rayburn, TX
Rayburn: Not so tough for some Anglers……
There were 23 teams that showed up to fish the 2nd Anglers Quest Event on Sam Rayburn. And what a day it was. 20 of the 23 teams all weighed in limits. There was exactly 100 fish caught and released alive. A total of 354.55 pounds. WOW !!!
( I apologize in advance, I failed to get reports from any of the teams on what, how and where they caught their fish ).
The team of Trey Smith & Amy Comeaux came in 1st place with 5 awesome fish that totaled 29.29lbs. Trey and Amy won $1,580.00 for their day on the water.
Tommy Hill & Bubba Fraizer came in 2nd with 5 bass that weighed 27.13lbs. Tommy caught the biggest bass of the tournament wieghing 10.73 lbs.Tommy did report that this fish is his personal best. Anytime you catch a double didgit, its a good day !!! Tommy and Bubba took home $1,255.00 for their total winnings.
The AQ Anglers of the Year Mr. Rusty Clark and Mr. Cory Rambo, came in third with 5 fish that weighed 23.69 lbs. They received $530.00 for their day on the water.
Kurt Rhodes & Newell Rhodes held down fourth place with 5 fish weighing 21.88lbs. they took home $350 for their efforts.
5th place received the Rayburn Country Stay and Play Gift Certificate for one nights stay and two rounds of golf at Rayburn Country Resort valued @ aprox. $230.00. Thank you to Rayburn Country for that awesome prize.
