Yamaha Collegiate Angler Appreciation Night – May 20th at Lake Pickwick

Hundreds of collegiate students, representing nearly half the United States, as well as Canada, will converge on shores of Lake Pickwick on May 20th at McFarland Park for Yamaha Collegiate Angler Appreciation Night at the 2014 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Cabela’s.

Students will be able to pick the brains of Yamaha Pros Jeff Kriet and James Niggemeyer, get their boats serviced by Yamaha Master Technicians, enjoy demo boat rides in Yamaha powered Rangers, win prizes as well as enjoy a pizza party as part of the nights activities.

“Yamaha Angler Appreciation Night is not so much about Yamaha as it is about the Angler’s,” said David Ittner, Tournament and Pro Staff Manager for Yamaha Marine. “Each year we look forward to this opportunity to show our appreciation for all their accomplishments and as partners in the industry. The enthusiasm, excitement, and energy these anglers bring to this event is what the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship is all about and we’re proud to be a key sponsor,” Ittner went on to say.

Yamaha will have on display several different models of motors at the event, as well as having technicians on hand to answer questions that not only college anglers, but that anyone else, may have about the full lineup of Yamaha products.
