ZX – Performance Series Bass Boats
There’s no mistaking the ZX250 Bass Boat from Skeeter. Rated for a 250 horsepower Yamaha outboard, this 21-foot craft is the largest Skeeter bass boat made. Cruising to the next fishing hole is a smooth and fast jaunt for the ZX250. The massive forward fishing platform is built on a 92-inch beam to accommodate the most demanding of front deck anglers with room for rods, tackle and even an oversized fishing partner.
The ZX250 also has oversized storage boxes including two rod lockers on the front deck with room to hold a large number of outfits neatly arranged with the built-in integrated rod storage system. The front deck also has two spacious storage compartments to hold plenty of tackle. There are more storage compartments built into the back deck and under the seats. Three retractable rod staze hold rods secure on the decks on even the longest and roughest runs.
The Skeeter ZX250 is simply a fishing machine with standard features of extended casting decks fore and aft, two 16-gallon livewells with a four-pump system with pumpout and a MotorGuide 24 volt Tour Edition foot-controlled trolling motor with Gator Mount. The aerodynamic rounded console includes a functional more visible dash panel, competition series gauges and black vinyl wrap automotive styling throughout the interior of the boat. Built in coolers and tilt hydraulic steering are standard features on the ZX250. The interior light package illuminates rod and storage boxes as well as live wells. Other standard features include tinted windscreen, stainless steel handrails and pull-up cleats, gas-assisted lifts on doors, three battery boxes, spare tire and carrier and much more.
Like all Skeeter ZX Series bass boats, the ZX250 is engineered and built for tournament fishing, made with X-TREME composite construction for unmatched strength and durability. Hydrodynamically designed precision-engineered hulls provide super responsive maneuverability and Skeeter’s legendary smooth, dry ride.
The ZX250 is fully rigged straight from the factory with the latest electronics, including: Dual Pro battery chargers, Zercom depth monitors and MotorGuide trolling motors, plus the performance and prestige of legendary Yamaha power. Factory installed Pinpoint Network cables allow easy installation of Pinpoint Sonars on the bow and console. The overall length of the ZX250 on the Skeeter Deluxe Tandem Axle Tube Trailer is 27′ 4″ or 23′ 10″ with the optional detachable tongue trailer. On the trailer, the total weight is 1,760 pounds with a maximum weight capacity of 1,484 pounds. Maximum person capacity is six with a combined weight limit of 900 pounds and the dual gas tanks hold 50 gallons for hours of high speed cruising. Each trailer is equipped with ratchet tie-downs and transom saver.
