AB Inflatables of Barranquilla, Colombia, has signed three new distributors to sell its line of inflatable boats.
Ivor Heyer, president of AB Inflatables, said, “adding these three distributors is good news and confirmation that our growth plan for the company is on target, which began with the move of our company to Colombia in 2008.”
In San Juan, Puerto Rico, Evinmotors, a multi-line distributorship run by Juan Andres Castellanos will be adding the AB line. The distributor also sells Evinrude Outboards, Sea-Doo PWCs, Can’Am ATVs, motorcycles and other accessories through a series of sub-distributorships.
Pronautica S.A. in Santiago, Chile, operated by Galo Paredes; in addition to selling the AB line of Inflatables also sells Hobie, Catalina Yachts, Macgregor Sailboats, Mercury Outboards, Bayliner, Sea Ray and a full line of boating accessories.
Auto Marina, S.A, in Santo Domingo, R.D., operated by Angel Gonz?lez, also sells Bayliner, Cruisers, Pro-Line, Sea Pro, Intermarine, Wellcraft, Glastron, Rinker and Seaswirl brands. It also sells trailers and full line of boating accessories.
AB Inflatables has been manufacturing high-quality inflatables, from tenders to coastal cruisers, since 1968. It builds more than 50 different models of boats ranging in size from 8 to 28 feet. The entire manufacturing process, from the building of fiberglass and aluminum hulls, to the fabrication of the tubes, is done under one roof.
