The second tournament for Arkansas’s Super Team the weather was beautiful. With water temps in the high 50’s and air temps in the high 60’s 81 teams caught 284 bass weighing 622.37 lbs with 41/5 fish limits with 66 teams weighing fish.
The team of Johnny Barksdale and Keith Green used 1/2 oz black and blue jigs to land 18.03 to best the field and earn $5000 in the Arkansas Super Team Tournament. Second place was the team of Darrell Crumpton and Jack Stewart who also used jigs to catch their 17.38 sack earned them a check of $1875.
Third were Brent Ward and Ronald Boatwright used a red Rattletrap to collect $1035 for their 16.60 lbs of bass. They also had 2nd big bass of 5.55 lbs to add $630 to their total winnings of $1665.
Lunker was a 6.92 lb bass caught by Jeral Howard and Duke Gunnell to earn them$950.
The next Arkansas Super Team tournament will be April 3 on Greer’s Ferry Lake out of Lacey’s Marina.
