The Bass Fishing League is headed to the Ohio River Oct. 2-3 for the Hoosier Division’s two-day Super Tournament. As many as 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $11,000 and $4,500, respectively.

Takeoffs and weigh-ins will be at Rocky Point Marina located at 7398 E. State Rd. 66 in Cannelton, Ind. Takeoff is scheduled for 6:45 a.m. each day while weigh-in will begin at 3 p.m. Takeoffs and weigh-ins are free and open to the public.

The top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings following the tournament will qualify for a regional championship where boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.

The BFL is a 24-division circuit devoted to weekend anglers, offering bigger prizes to those who qualify for regional championships and those who make it to one of the longest-running championships in all of competitive bass fishing – the BFL All-American presented by Chevy. Top winners in the BFL can move up to the FLW American Fishing Series or even the FLW Tour.
