Bill & Kathy Purtle take 1st place on Lake Millwood May 7. Heavy rains twodays prior to the tournament and high winds during the tournament createdvery uncooperative fishing conditions. Bill and Kathy took their chances inthe open water where they battled waves crashing over the side of the boatand underwater grass laying permanent claim to much of their tackle. Againstthe elements they were able to weigh in the winning stringer of 10.62 lbs.
2nd Place with a weight of 8.82 lbs. and Big Bass weighing 3.57 lbs. was Royand Linda Wasson. This is two in a row where they have caught Big Bass ofthe tournament!!! Good Job Roy and Linda!
3rd Place with weight of 7.72 lbs. was Randall and Julie May; 4th Place witha weight of 7.20 lbs. was Tony and Terri Spangler.
