Can you believe Amistad ?? It didn’t rain this year, but everyone caught fish and many had a limit. As I was typing the standings it dawned on me that this one tournament almost everyone doubled their weight.
We had the first place winners, Thurston’s, take home a check for the first time and the big bass winners, Crenshaw’s,their fish had a Mexican flair. And if their luck holds out that 7.80 lb will hold up for the Big Bass of the Year.
What a fun trip we had even if it is a long drive. The excitement of how the standings will move around was prevalent but Joe and Susie held everyone off, but don’t give up Leon is next!!
We have a large group already qualified for the Classic, and a good many that will get their points at Leon. So get ready to rumble. Many of us have not been to Choke Canyon in years or ever, so forth coming will be a guide list for those that might want to get some hometown help. I know the South couples will be hard to beat but we all know the Wild Wild West is no pussycat to contend with !!!.
So buckle up and lets go to South Texas and show those wimps how to fish ???
Just a note: someone said it is a lot like Ivie so that won’t be such a challenge. If you have any questions just call we will get them answered.
