Our fourth tournament was held on the Ross Barnett with 8 couples fishing. There were 12 fish caught with a total weight of 29.66 lb. and unfortunately we lost 4 fish due to the heat but thats summer fishing.
Cynthia and Mike Norsworthy came in first with the only limit of fish caught all day. Second was our Anglers of The Year Paula and Jimmy Carruth with 3 fish. The Big Bass of the day was caught by Tac Caruthers that weighed 3.23 lb. As you can see it was a tough day.
The weather was beautiful and we all know that usually doesn’t make for good fishing. Two other couples caught fish and three scratched. Our points race is tightening up so it looks like ever fish is important. A special note: April Lay has been in the hospital for quite some time now following surgery. We wish her a speedy recovery and our love. We miss you and Richie so get well soon and come back fishing with us.
