Anglers Quest Livingston Team #4.
The weather was forecast to be 80% chance of rain on Saturday, but the rain stayed away and it turned out to be a beautiful day on Lake Livingston.
David Curtis came in with 5 Bass that weighed 19.32 lbs and took first place and had a 5.01 that happened to make big bass of the tournament, winning a total of $2850.00 for his efforts.
A couple of my Lake Houston Anglers Albert White and Randy Quin teamed up to fish Livingston and ended up coming in second place with 5 fish weighing 15.69 lbs. and their winnings totaled $1275.00 for their day on the water. Coming in third place was Steve Nicholas and Lee Barrett with 5 fish totaling 14.96 lbs, they received $660.00 for their day on the water. Fourth place was held by the team of Elmo Ross and John Roeder who had 5 that went 14.69 lbs., to receive $375.00. Another team of Lake Houston Anglers came in fifth with 5 fish that weighed 14.50 lbs. that was Sandro Alfaro and Chris Bush. they got a check for $300.00. Sixth place was the team of Robert Hogue & Forrest Hogue. They had a total weight of 13.74 lbs. with their 5 bass winning them $250.00 lbs. Last place money was 7th place and $200.00 that went to James Chaney & Edward Richardson for their 4 fish that tipped the scales at 13.30 lbs. And 1st out of the money received two $15.00 gift certificates from Busters Lakeside Resturant. Those went to the team of Kevin Long & Larry Thrasher for their 5 fish that weighed 13.03.
Next time ya’ll go through Onalska, stop in at Cunninhams Kickapoo Bait & Tackle shop and say hello to the new owners, Billy & Wendi Cunningham. They’re GREAT people that will treat you right and have everything you need for whatever kinda of fishing your into. Whether your fishing for Bass, Crappie or Catfish, or Trolling for White Bass or running Trot Lines. Live bait including worms and minnows, they’ve got what you need.
