Anglers Quest 2012 Livingston Individual Series #7 out of Kickapoo Bait & Tackle in Onalaska, Tx began this event with 9 anglers showing up to fish for the $525.00 purse. This 7th event of 2013 was started as a trailoring event at 6:05 am. The weigh in time was conducted at 4:00 pm. Any Individual entering 6 of the 8 Livingston Individual Series events will automatically qualify for the 2-day Livingston Championship. The top Individual in points after both series will be declared the Angler of the Year and will be awarded free entries to all 2014 Livingston Individual Series events. The Individuals entering all 8 Livingston Individual series events will automatically qualify for all 3 of the Lakes Individual Series 2-day Championships. Any Individual qualifying for any A/Q Championship will be allowed to enter the “Tournament of Champions” on October 23-27 at Toledo Bend.
Livingston water was in good shape at 1 1/2 ft below normal pool level with water temps ranning 82-88 degrees. The weather at takeoff was a calm 74 degrees with a warming to 98 degrees by weigh in time. The fish catching was good on Livingston today as there was 7 limits brought to the scales for a total of 42 bass at 95.10 lbs making the average bass brought to the scales today weigh 2.26 lb.
David Filla from Baytown, Tx ran his bass rig to mid lake creek areas to catch his bass flipping Tx rigged creature baits & throwing small cranks in 1-5 ft of water. David managed to catch 7 keepers to finish in 1st place with 12.48 lbs. He made $330.00 for his day on the water.
Michael Lawless ran his bass rig to Kickapoo Creek areas to catch 5 bass at 12.07 lbs to finish in 2nd and take home $100.00 for his day in the heat.
Darwin Ballard from Huntsville, Tx ran his bass rig into north river creeks and finished his day in 3rd with 5 bass at 12.02 lbs and collected the $15.00 Buster McNuttys gift card & 2 pkgs of Fast 5 Baits. The Martel’s Welding Works $50.00 gift card towards the purchase of a Rhino Bed Liner was awarded to Chris DiBerardino for his 4th place finish.

On July 30th & August 6th Anglers Quest will be back at Lake Houston for for the 19th & 20th of 23 Tuesday evening events. Anglers Quest will be back at The Umphrey Pavilion on Sam Rayburn on August 10th & 11th for the 8th and final events of Sam Rayburn Saturday & Individual Series events. On August 13th Anglers Quest will be back at Lake Houston for for the 21st of 23 Tuesday evening events. On August 17th Anglers Quest will be back at Lake Houston for the 8th & final Houston Saturday Series event. On August 18th A/Q will be at Lake Livingston for the 8th & final Livingston Individual event.
NOTE Anglers Quest in an effort to increase entries in the Individual Series events on Lake Livingston & Lake Houston has switched the dates of the 1 series event to make the Individual events not fall on the same weekend as the Team events. The 1 remaining Livingston Individual events will be on August 18. The 1 remaining Houston Individual events will be on August 4. We do hope this change does not cause anyone any inconvenience?we are trying to make these 2 series better for you and A/Q.
