April 3, 2005 was the first date of the North Mississippi division of F.A.C.T. We had a fair turn-out with twenty five couples. We had a few new couples and all our long time members. The 2005 Championship is being sponsored by the city of Ridgeland, MS. on Ross Barnett, Oct. 6 – 9, 2005.
The tournament day started a little cold, but warmed up in the afternoon for a wonderful day. The couple of Debbie and Mark Davis caught five bass that weighed 15.95 lbs for the top honors. Second place went to the 2004 Anglers of the Year in the North Division, Wendy and Tommy Pickett with five bass at 14.43 lbs. Third place went to Audra Bilbro and Leslie Franks with five bass that weighed 13.42 lbs. We also want to wish them many years of happiness with their wedding on April 8, 2005. Fourth place went to Amamda and Greg Elliott with five bass at 11.37 lbs. and a Big Bass at 5.09 lbs.
