Ellison Joins Bass Fishing Hall Of Fame Board Of Directors-

Former PAA Executive Director, Gene Ellison confirmed yesterday that he has been elected to the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame Board Of Directors. Ellison joins Alan Clemons, Guy Eaker, Bill Fletcher, Bruce Holt, Rob Kilby, Stacy King, Sammy Lee, Tommy Martin, Jerry McKinnis, Ray Murski, Gary Nesty, Jeff Pontius, Dave Precht, Don Watts and Mike Wurm on the Hall of Fame Board.

Ellison, who worked feverishly to bring the PAA forward as it’s Executive Director, averaging as many as 125 days on the road each of the past three years, saw his efforts rewarded with the success of the historic PAA’s Toyota Texas Bass Classic back in April. Ellison was the designer and implementer of this historic conservation based professional tournament.

“I am very excited to be asked to become an active member of this board, and to be involved again at the top level of the sport of bass fishing. Fishing has provided me with so many rewards, and serving on the Hall of Fame Board is allowing me to continue to serve with another worthy fishing organization. It is humbling to be included on this board of great leaders and bass tournament heroes’ from the world of fishing.”
