Fishing Icon Bill Dance Featured on ESPN Outdoors’ World’s Greatest Fishing Show

The World’s Greatest Fishing Show hooks up with bass fishing legend Bill Dance on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 8:30 a.m. ET on ESPN2 as Dance and ESPN Outdoors personality and host Mark Zona share a boat on the Mississippi River. With the help of local fishing expert James Patterson, the two drift the Mississippi seeking big catfish near Memphis, Tenn.

Bassmaster Elite Series pro Bobby Lane of Lakeland, Fla., has one day to catch fish on a lake he has never fished on Saturday’s A Day on the Lake at 8 a.m. on ESPN2. Lane, the 2008 Bassmaster Elite Series Rookie of the Year, will compete in his second Bassmaster Classic, set for Feb. 20-22 on the Red River out of Shreveport-Bossier, City, La.

Jim Marco, a big fan of Beat Charlie Moore, finally has his challenge accepted on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 7:30 a.m. on ESPN2. Marco submitted more than 250 requests to Moore, who decided to face the avid viewer in a one-on-one bass fishing duel.
