This week on “FLW Outdoors” television, co-hosts Carlton Wing and Taylor Carr look ahead at the homestretch of the Wal-Mart FLW Tour season and the drive toward the Jacobs Cup, the $1.5 million world championship of bass fishing and outdoor show in Richmond, Va. The bracket-style championship on the James River, scheduled for Sept. 10-13, will feature the best 48 pro anglers from this year’s season vying for the top prize of $500,000 cash.
This week, the crew is fishing Kentucky Lake, the fifth stop on the FLW Tour, with Land O’Lakes Angler of the Year points leader and Evinrude pro Dan Morehead of Paducah, Ky., who will demonstrate how to hop a jig. Also joining the group is Yamaha pro Terry Bolton of Paducah, Ky., who will fish deep ledges with a worm.
Also profiled on the show is Kellogg’s pro Clark Wendlandt of Cedar Park, Texas, and his family. “FLW Outdoors” will then take a look back at the highlights from the first four events of the season and go through postcards sent from anglers currently serving our country in the Middle East.
