Freeman Wins Bass Fishing League Cowboy Division On Toledo Bend

WHAT: Boater Glen Freeman of Converse La., caught 10-bass weighing 40 pounds, 1 ounce Aug. 28-29 to win $7,329 in the BFL Cowboy Division tournament on Toledo Bend. Henry was fishing the north end of the lake with Yum crankbaits in 20 to 25 feet of water.

WHAT: Randy Hicks of Lumberton, Texas, caught 10 bass weighing 22 pounds, 5 ounces Aug. 28-29 to win $2,664 in the Co-angler Division. Over a hot and hazy weekend Hicks was deep dragging a Texas rig with a Red Bug Ole Monster to haul in his limit of five fish per day.
