With a carrying capacity of 2,000 pounds, the new Model 2072 CC jon boat from G3 Boats is a workhorse with the “Gator Tough” attitude for which G3 Boats are known. The 19-foot, 10-inch, package boat is built from welded .100 gauge aluminum with 15-rib construction for increased strength and rigidity for work and play situations.
The Model 2072 CC thinks it’s part barge with a 98-inch beam, 72-inch bottom width and 30-inch sides. The ton of cargo can be just about anything from a 4-wheeling ATV to an entire party of duck hunters with all the decoys and gear they desire.
The center-mounted walk-around fiberglass console has a windshield, an 11-gallon aerated livewell, a comfortable camouflage cushion seat, under-deck storage for a convenient place to storing additional gear and a stainless grab rail for more comfort and convenience while standing and driving. The Model 1860 SC and 1860 CC have an 80-inch beam, 60-inch wide floor, 24-inch sides and can carry up to 1500 pounds. The 1860 is rated for a 90 horsepower Yamaha outboard. Like the 2072, the 1860 is built from welded .100 gauge aluminum and has a 13-rib hull construction.
The console on the 1860 models has a windshield, an 11-gallon aerated livewell with a camo pattern cushioned seat, under-deck storage and a stainless grab rail on center console models. The1860 is painted desert brown with the new G3 exclusive five-color Mossy Oak ® Shadow Grass camouflage finish optional on the 1860 SC.
The floors have a powder-coated diamond tread finish that provides a sharp, clean look that is extra durable and skid resistance. The front casting deck on the desert brown models has a sand-infused paint finish for skid-resistant footing.
Standard features on both the 2072 and 1860 include a 6-gallon portable gas tank, navigational lights, 12-volt trolling motor wiring and a G3 custom galvanized trailer by Bear®. For flawless operation and piece of mind each boat is equipped with Yamaha controls, cables and key switch. For added flotation, closed cell block foam has been inserted under the floor and decks.
