The Pro 165 from G3 Boats continues to be a popular model for anglers who appreciate a well designed fishing boat and its contribution to the daily catch. Now G3 has taken some of the features normally found only on the bigger fishing crafts and added them to the Pro 165 layout.
The Pro 165’s New Generation Performance stepped modified V hull is one-piece, built of welded .100 gauge aluminum and is rated for 60 horsepower. The boat has been stretched to a length of 16’5″ and the beam widened to 72″ giving the angler a longer and wider front deck than before. This not only adds to the elbow room but also enlarges the already spacious under deck storage areas including a 7′ rod locker. The 56″ bottom width is a full 6″ wider enhancing the boat’s stability and improving its turning capabilities. Also added this year is an extruded longitudinal stringer system running the full length of the hull for additional strength and performance.
The back deck holds a large 14″ by 30″ 16-gallon aerated livewell with a timer and the lockable access to the battery/gas tank compartment is new to the model.
The deluxe console on the Pro 165 features Yamaha controls and cables, factory-installed Humminbird Piranha 5 dual beam fish finder with built-in surface temp and windshield. Easy to read gauges include fuel level, speedometer, tachometer and trim. Other standard features include the new and more powerful 46-pound thrust Model FW46FB MotorGuide trolling motor, deluxe
upholstered bench seat with under-seat storage, two deluxe pinchless fold-down fishing seats, automatic self-priming bilge pump, 11-gallon built-in gas tank, navigation lights and more.
The Pro 165 has a platinum metallic painted finish with custom graphics. A G3 custom powder-coated 3″ tubular steel trailer with 13″ tires provides easy loading and a higher degree of hull protection.
E-Z Lube hubs makes trailer hub maintenance quick and precise. Like all G3 boats, the Pro 165 is powered by Yamaha outboard engines.
