A WIN IN CONGRESS FOR FISH, WILDLIFE AND PUBLIC LANDS
This week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Natural Resources Management Act. Having already been passed by the Senate, this historic package is now headed to the President for his signature.
This is a bill that’s good for fish and wildlife all over the USA.
The package contains a permanent reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund, a section enhancing and increasing public land access for anglers, language improving outdoor recreation access and more than 100 locally and regionally-specific public lands bills.
Many thanks to all the anglers, hunters, sportsmen and women who made their voices heard in the halls of Congress. You made a difference.
