AQ Tuesday Night #8
There were only 11 teams that showed up to fish the Tuesday night tournament on Lake Houston, but they were fishing for a total of $850.00. The temperature was in the low 80’s with lots of clouds an for a few teams the fish were biting…..
At any given Tuesday night tournament 16 pounds would be the winner, and so that’s what Matthew McArdle from Humble & Garrett Lindsey from Atascocita were thinking at weigh-in….. And to be honest so was I….. Matthew & Garrett in their Bass Cat/Mercury, brought in a awesome limit of bass that weighed 16.01 lbs. Matthew reported catching his fish around the boat docks of Indian Shores on a Dropshot ( not sure that’s the truth, but that’s their story and they’re sticking to it). That would be the winning stringer on just about any Tuesday evening tournament, but not tonight………
James Chandler form Liberty & Sandro Alfaro from Hull squashed Matthew & Garretts hopes of winning when they brought a 21.12 lb limit to the scales. James and Sandro fished out of James’s Ranger/Mercury Rig and James reported catching their limit out of Lake Shadows on boat docks on Texas Rigged Pumpkin Seed Lizards…..Now with that said, I’m not sure about that story either. But the completion on Tuesday night is tough and no one wants to give out the truth on where or how they really catch them….but here again, that’s their story and they are sticking to it…..LOL…. James also had the Biggest bass of the evening a beautiful 7.35 lb’er and they took home $570.00 for their three hours on the water. I’ll have to check the past weights, but that 21.12 lbs. is probably a Tuesday night record so Congratulations guys !!!
I gotta thank all of you guys and gals that support Anglers Quest by fishing these tournaments…. And a big thank you goes out to Mrs. Pricilla White for riding along on these tournaments so Brandon can fish while Albert is recovering from a torn bicep.
