IFA Redfish Tour Partners With Blue Heron Communications

Blue Heron Communications, located in Norman, Okla., announces today that its agreement to serve as the agency of record for the Inshore Fishing Association (IFA) Redfish Tour, effective immediately.

As part of its new relationship with the IFA Redfish Tour, Blue Heron will serve as a point of contact for media inquiries regarding IFA Redfish Tour events while executing a variety of marketing communications and public relations tactics to boost overall awareness of the organization’s events and conservation message.

“We are proud to have Blue Heron Communications as a partner in our efforts to grow the IFA Redfish Tour,” said Bart Schad, Marketing and Sponsorship Director for the IFA. “The agency’s professionalism, success and knowledge of the outdoors is unmatched by any agency; their knowledge of fishing makes them ideal to communicate with today’s inshore anglers about the benefits of competing in IFA Redfish Tour events.”

The IFA Redfish Tour offers saltwater inshore anglers a series of one-day, catch-and-release tournaments from Florida’s east coast to the Gulf Coast of Texas. These tournaments allow anglers to fish closer to home in a two-angler, team format with lucrative payouts and prize packages. In 2009, the IFA Redfish Tour will consist of 18 events across six divisions plus a season-ending championship event. For more information on the IFA Redfish Tour, go to the redfishtour website.
