Tuesday night the forecast said wind and rain…. and so it came…… but, it triggered the fish to bite!!!! There were 40 fish caught, with a total of 97.89 lbs…… That was just 16 teams….. WOW !!!
Nicolas Peoples from Kingwood & Domonick Poullard form Channelview hammered them…..Fishing out of Domonick’s Pheonix/Yamaha, Boat/Motor, They reported catching their fish ” strokin’ a Jig ” mid-lake…. Nicolas & Domonick weighed in 15.85 lbs., they won a total of $650.00…. They would like to thank Enigma Rods for their support. Congatulations guys !!!!
The team of Sandro Alfaro from Hull and James Chandler from Liberty, came in a close second with their 5 bass weighing in at 14.16 lbs…James and Sandro fishing out of a Ranger/Mercury, reported catching their fish all over the lake on cranks and jigs… they took home the second place check for $325.00…. They are sponsored in part by Chandler Law Offices…Way to go !!!!
Russell Traylor & Wesley Bennett brought in their limit weighing 12.99 lbs., andtook third place for $220.00… Great Job Ya’ll !!!!
Tommy Yackel & Travis Gates won their choice of the “Larry the Lizard” baits! You Guys ROCK !!!!
If you guys have never attended a Tuesday night event, then you don’t know what your missing!!! It’s only three hours, but that’s enough to catch a lot of fish and have a good time with some awesome competition !!! If your still not sure, then come out and watch the weigh-in, you’ll enjoy it !!!
To all “my Fishermen” THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!! Some of you guys have fished with me for years, and some are just starting to fish Anglers Quest. I appreciate each and everyone of you !!!
