Lake Amon G. Carter greeted C.A.S.T./North couples with low water conditions and light north winds. The outstanding thing about this lake is a quick trip through the tube connecting the two lakes and our couples can fish the kind of water that they prefer, clear water on the new lake side or off colored water on the old lake side. Our couples used both sides to bring great catches to the scales.
Joe and Pam Pope used Black Neon 5 Pocit Frys by Exude to land the winning stringer of 14.10 lbs. The Popes preferred the main lake rocky banks of the new lake flipping the Pocit Fry into the shallow water. Joe and Pam anchored their winning stringer with the 6.05 lb Big Bass of the tournament.
David and Tammy Waller preferred the rocky coves of the new lake and used a Green Pumpkin Exude Baby-B-A-Hawg to bring in an 11.15 lb stringer to take 2nd place.
Mike and Tammie Michelson preferred the main creek in the old lake and used a green pumpkin lizard in the brush piles to weigh-in an 8.50 lb stringer for 3rd place.

The next C.A.S.T./North tournament will be May 2nd at Lake Texoma. Sign-ups will be held at The Tackle Box located at Pottsboro Texas. Launch will be from The Tackle Box parking lot and weigh-in will be at Highport Marina.
