The C.A.S.T./ NORTH 4th tournament of the year found us at Lantana Lodge on Lake Ray Roberts. What a blast we had. Many of the couples were there for the whole weekend and caught lots of fish in the 5,6,7,lb range. Garry Darby caught a 8 lbr.during the tournament on Sunday, but had to release it because it was a slot fish. Nobody was able to bring a 24″ fish to the scales but 17 teams had limits.
John Bills and Brenda Reeves took 1st Place for the first time this year. They fished main lake points on the west side of the lake to bring in there 7.20 lb stringer.
David and Tammy Waller used Brush Hogs and Crank Baits on a grass bed they found on a main lake point to take 2nd Place.
One of our new couples this year Craig and Laura Hatchel fished the grass with Senkos for 3rd Place.

The next CAST/NORTH tournament will be at Cedar Creek July 10th. Sign-up will be at Countryside Inn in Malakoff July 9th from 3-5. Take off Sunday will be at Sunny Glenn Marina.
