The Second tournament of the year for Super Team opened with nasty rainy conditions with temperatures in the high 50’s at take off and high 30’s at weigh in. The 25 teams caught 78 fish weighing 229.98 lbs with 12/5 fish limits.
First were Scott Jones and Dustin Cauthon who used A-rigs on main lake points to weigh 5 bass at 22.87lbs to win the tournament and earn $2000. They also had a 7.10 lb lunker to earn $500 more.
Second were Ron Suffield and Johnny Rowton. They used a-rigs, crank baits, and jerk baits to weigh 19.15 lbs and earn $1000.
Third were Mark McDonnel and Billy Holt Jr. They used a-rigs and jerk baits to catch 16.50lbs and earn them $400 for their efforts.
The next Super Team will be April 6th on Greers Ferry Lake out of Devil’s Fork Tournament Center.
