AQ Rayburn Individual #2
There were 20 individuals who came out in the fog to fish the second of eight Anglers Quest Individual events of the year.
Justin Cochran brought 5 to the scales that weighed 15.91 lbs. He reported catching his fish early, mid lake on top water baits. Justin would like to thank; KicknBass, Rod Armor, Phenix and his loving wife Brandi who allows him to go fishing….
Mr. Mike Atchley came in with 5 weighing 15.93lbs, but unfortunately had one die on him and that cost him one-half pound penalty, which cost him the win. He still pulled off second place and took home a check for $295.00. Not bad for a $75.00 entry fee. Mike fished out of his Nitro/Mercury rig, South in 2 ft or less throwing snag proof frogs.
Glen Kimble, our Angler of the year, came in third and he had a 15.29 lb stringer. Glen fished mid lake out of his Skeeter / Yamaha chunking frogs.
He also Caught the biggest bass of the tournament a nice 6.10 er’. He took home a total of $295.00 for his day on the water.
And Randy Quin from Huffman Texas came in third with 5 that weighed 13.18 lbs. Randy won his entry fee of $75.00 back.
To all “my Fishermen” THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!! Some of you guys have fished with me for years, and some are just starting to fish Anglers Quest. I appreciate each and every one of you !!!
It’s a new Year Guys & Gals, if you’ve never fished with us, come give us a try ! We’re not the biggest game on the water, but we’ll give you an honest tournament with some awesome competition. Hope to see ya in the weigh-in line !!!
