Lake Waco Speegelville Park with light north winds and over cast skies 32 teams left the boat ramp hoping to catch the heaviest five fish stringer. But unfortunately there is only one first place. And this was the team of Kendall Lovett and Troy Kinder they had five fish that weighed in at 9.92 lbs. Kendall and Troy were fishing the mid lake area flipping the reeds at 12:30 they caught there first fish. All of there fish came late in the day but it was enough to take the win and earn them a payday of $1000.00.
Second place went to the team of Kenneth Bennett and Wayne Worley. They had five fish that weighed in at 9.55 lbs this earned them a check for $500.00. Kenneth and Wayne fished the south end of the lake in the Hog creek area. They were flipping brush hogs and jigs in the grass this pattern worked for the morning bite. And they were able to boat all five of there this way.
Third place went to the team of Windal Reese and Jimmy Bennett. They were also flipping reeds with a June bug lizard in the mid lake area. There five fish weighed in at 9.43 lbs this earned them a check for $250.00
Big Bass went to the team of Richard Warren and Mark Busch. They were fishing a Texas rig with a power lizard in the north Bosque when they caught the big bass of the tournament that weighed 4.13 lbs. And earned them $320.00 in cash.

Our next tournament will be on Lake Belton November 17th take off and weigh in site will be at Cedar Ridge park boat ramp. The top fifteen places from each tournament will qualify for the championship witch will be held on Lake Belton in January in conjunction with the Belton Boat Show.
